Terms of use (English)

The entity responsible for the service is nishishei.vn.

1. Service

Nǐ shì shéi provides web-based Chinese learning following HSK 3.0 at the learning website. The learning website uses Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. The Android app, iOS app and Chrome extension are presented as coming soon.

2. Accounts and lawful use

Use your own Google account to sign in and protect access to that account. Do not use another person’s account without permission. If you suspect unauthorized access, secure your Google account and notify the contact email below.

• Use the service for learning and other lawful activities.
• Do not gain unauthorized access, damage or disrupt the service, or attempt to bypass access controls.
• Do not unlawfully collect, use or disclose another person’s information.
• Respect intellectual property and other lawful rights of others.

3. Learning content and intellectual property

Rights in Nǐ shì shéi content, interface, Lóng Lóng mascot and logo are protected under intellectual property law. Textbook and examination materials belong to their respective rights holders. Access to content through the service does not transfer ownership of those materials to users.

Content may only be used for personal, non-commercial learning. Do not copy or redistribute content without prior written consent. Any use must still comply with the law and the rights of the relevant rights holders.

If you believe content infringes your rights, follow the copyright and content complaints page to submit a report.

4. User data

Account information and learning data are processed as described in the Privacy policy. Read that policy for information about the data processed, storage, synchronization and your data rights.

Account deletion instructions are available on the account deletion page. Deleting an account and deleting data retained on a device or browser have different scopes, as explained in the privacy policy.

5. Educational purpose and learning outcomes

The service is intended to support learning. Content and practice results do not guarantee scores, examination success or any particular learning outcome. Results depend on each person’s learning process and other relevant factors.

6. Responsibilities of the parties

The responsibilities of nishishei.vn and users are determined under Vietnamese law, taking account of each party’s obligations, any breach, damage and the relevant legal grounds. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law; this provision does not exclude responsibilities or user rights that the law does not permit to be excluded.

7. Changes, suspension and discontinuation

Changes to features, suspension or discontinuation of the service will comply with the law and include information enabling users to understand the effects on their accounts, learning data and rights.

For changes, suspension or discontinuation of the service, nishishei.vn will give at least 30 days' advance notice on the homepage and within the /hoc learning website. You can still delete your own account by following the account deletion instructions. Data is handled in accordance with the Privacy policy.

When these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with its update date. For important changes, nishishei.vn will provide notice within the /hoc learning website at least 7 days before the changes take effect.

8. Applicable law and contact

Use of the service and resolution of related matters are subject to Vietnamese law. The parties may communicate to clarify or resolve concerns; the right to seek protection of lawful rights and interests from competent authorities is exercised under the law.
